MT euro specific counterfeit detector
SC 1510 Euro Value features unique and revolutionary metal thread (MT) technology from SCAN COIN. This advanced technique enables the machine to scan the metal thread in each banknote, which provides extremely high accuracy, both in terms of checking authenticity and summing up the correct value.

Advanced size detection
SC 1510 Euro Value provides size detection of the height of the notes as standard. The size can be adjusted by the operator between three and eight mm. A smaller banknote or other document is immediately detected to avoid miscounts.

Ultraviolet and Infrared counterfeit detection
Using sophisticated UV and IR detection system, SC 1510 Euro Value examines the paper quality for counterfeits. The sensitivity of the UV detection can be adjusted in eight steps by the operator, or switched off when not required.

Designed for integration
An RS 232 interface is also provided as standard for connection to a PC, the Cash Centre System – CCS, and the Cash Management System – CMS.

User friendly design and functions
The functional design of SC 1510 Euro Value ensures a high level of user friendliness. As it weighs only 5.7 kg (12.6 lbs), it is easy to move between different locations using the built-in carrying handle.

High throughput with flexibility
The SC 1510 Euro Value offers a high throughput of up to 1,500 notes per minute. Counting speed can easily be modified via the front panel to one of four rates. Standard functions include continuous counting as well as variable batching of any quantity between 1 and 999 notes. The machine restarts automatically after each completed batch to maintain high throughput.

Many versatile options
But what if your company does not only handle euro banknotes? The SC 1510 Euro Value works fine as a standard currency counter (i.e. no value counting) for other currencies than the Euro when using the “other currencies mode”.
