Features
The TR4000 boasts an unrivalled range of built-in features for a device which weighs in at less than four pounds. In addition to a 10 key numeric pad (which includes double and treble zeros), the TR4000 possesses 21 programmable keys providing maximum flexibility to support a host of cash processing applications. To make the TR4000 even more powerful, there are two shift keys which potentially add another 30 functions to 15 of these keys. A 2 line, 20 column backlit supertwist LCD display is readable under any lighting conditions.

Communications/peripheral devices
The TR4000 comes as standard with three communications ports which can be configured as RS232, RS422 or RS485 thereby allowing communication with host computers, back-office controllers or other intelligent devices. These communications ports can additionally be used to support a wide variety of peripheral devices such as currency counters, coin counters, barcode scanners, cheque encoders, cheque readers, cash drawers, currency scales and validation or receipt printers.
